NoHo Dining Recs?

We're going to the El Portal Theatre in a couple of weeks to see the Saturday night 8:00 pm show of the Kid From Brooklyn. This is the first time I've been interested in seeing anything in NoHo, so it's kind of exciting. I hear there are some nice places to eat in Noho. Any recommendations for pre-theatre dining? I'm open.

Lots of good Thai for Thai lovers in the area. Frankly I sorta like Sitton's Diner. Not fancy by far, though.

Some people don't like it but I've always had a good experience at Salomi (Lankershim just north of Magnolia). I am partial to Indian food.

Barsac brasserie and Le petit chateau both on lankershim.

North Hollywood is, of course, Studio City-adjacent.

I know. My first attempt is to park the car, have drinks and dinner, see the show, and soberly drive home. Hence, I want to be near the theatre. But I want to have a nice dining experience, too (trying to impress the missus, I am). So I am open to all suggestions.

I would either go to Ca de Sole down Lankershim around Universal or a little closer at the Eclectic Cafe.
