good beignets in the LA area?

Just read an article about beignets in the latimes and now i am dying to try one. Wont be going to New Orleans anytime soon, so hopefully there is somewhere in LA that is comparable!

    Unfortunately, not anything close to Cafe Du Mond, that I have found.
