Edamame in Calgary?
I'm looking for fresh soybeans so I can make my own edamame at home. So far I have found nothing at the Pacific Place T & T or at the Shun Fat on International Ave. Does anyone know where I could find some? Thanks!
Edit: I would prefer if I didn't have to buy those microwave steamer packs they sell at Co-op/Safeway/etc... my roommate buys those and they're pretty gross.

Superstore carries Edamame fresh and frozen... I've seen them fresh at the sushi bar(but not all the time) and frozen in the organics aisle. "Green Organic" shelled(frozen but not in a steamer bag)...same kind they carry at Planet Organic but PO carries them shelled and unshelled and the bags are 500g/17.5oz... not the huge boxes like Costco carries.

We get them at Costco - they have huge frozen 12 packs, and they are really good - way better then anything we've gotten from Co-op or T&T (frozen). They are packed in the microwave steamer packs, but we just empty them into a regular steamer.
The edamame is really quite nice and fresh looking. You need a good size freezer though, cause its a pretty big box.
