We ended up going there last night - delicious and friendly as always! The construction used to be to the west of the restaurant on 92nd Street, but now seems to have migrated to the east of it. They have some orange and red Christmas tree lights wrapped around a tree in front of the restaurant - no big sign though the menu is outside and there's a small sign in the window. Loved my meatloaf and springroll trio - my husband had the hangar steak and beef empanadas. My caiparinha (sp?) was a delight - dare I say better than the one across the street at Zebu Grill - and we had a lovely Bordeaux for $35 that is one of her wine specials for the month - a great value.

My parents were there last week; it can be kind of hard to see since they put the scaffolding up. I will add to the good reviews though-- probably one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It's very homey in a cool way, and the food is amazing. Fresh mojitos are nice too.

I'll have to check it out - there has been a lot of scaffolding on that side of the block, but it was east of the scaffolding. Haven't been since the spring, though I didn't notice new construction while at the mechanic across the street just before Christmas. Did you try calling them?
