  1. Average food. Overpriced. Haven't had the brunch, but there seems to be a lively crowd for the jazz at night. I like their little take out place in the LB Marketplace better (Spaghettini Cucina).

Strictly mediocre food. If you desperate to do the jazz club/dinner combo, try Lunaria in West Los Angeles, make you reservation around 9pm, they open up the doors to the bar and you can watch great jazz while eating. Food is excellent, most entrees hover around $20.

If, on the other hand, you just want good (local) italian food, try Finbars or Bacchus in Belmont Shore. Bacchus is truly terrific, intimate great atmosphere.

    2. Although I cant comment on the brunch or Jazz in the evenings, I would have to agree with the other poster. My husband and I have had dinner there twice and were disappointed each time. The problem isnt so much with the atmosphere but with the food. Finbars in Seal Beach has much better food and is more reasonably priced. The atmosphere is also fairly nice but not quite as nice as Spaghettinis.
