Two dinners in Atlanta

We are staying in Buckhead for the weekend and want to eat well....

Saturday night - Aria
Sunday night - Restauant Eugene or Buckhead Diner

My favorite new Atlanta restaurant is Two Urban Licks.

Please do not eat at Buckhead Diner. The food is not very good and the prices are outrageous. They also try to cheat diners, for instance a diner orders a side salad and they ask if he would like salmon on top of the salad. The diner says yes and on his check appears a $7 side salad and a $25 "Salmon Dinner", for his small salad with a 4-6 oz piece of fish on top. I've seen it numerous times along with wine upsells of a bottle that is "just a little" more, aka 2 or 3 times the price.

Aria and Restaurant Eugene sound perfect to me.

Aria has been very good every time I go.
I do love Restaurant Eugene, excellent. I also enjoy Woodfire Grill which is a little bit of a drive, really little.
I wouldn't do Dante's unless you were a big fondue fan.
My favorite restaurant is Bacchanalia (sp?) It is the BEST!

I'm not a big fan of Buckhead Diner; it's rather plain. The other two should be fine. Depending on what you're looking for you might also consider pied de cochon (french, and open 24/7!) or Dante's (fondu), both of which I really like. Of course there are also numerous steak houses around there.
