Mardi Gras in L.A.?

We usually try and go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, but this year, it isn't in the cards...

I'm looking for somewhere to celebrate Mardi Gras with really good food. Years ago, we used to love to go to 'Orleans', now it's gone. Then we went to 'Mardi Gras' in Toluca Lake, now it's gone. Then we went to 'Big Mommas' in Woodland Hills, now it's gone. I'm starting to see a pattern, and I don't like it!

Where can I get my crawfish etouffee fix on Fat Tuesday (and maybe beads!)? BTW, I'm in the west Valley.

Stevie's in Encino (Ventura Blvd) is good. A little pricier than Mardi Gras in Toluca Lake, but much nicer and a younger, "hipper" crowd.

The only place that I know of is at the Gumbo Pot/3rd. St. Farmers Mkt. Regular menu plus Crawfish Boil and King Cake. Live music, Abita and Black Voodoo Bear at the nearby bar and very very crowded.
