Does anyone know where I can get a good pupusa in west Los Angeles?

There's a place called, I think, Los Chorros on Century Boulevard in Inglewood that has great pupusas. Their Loroca are especially good - not too heavy, not too greasy; the perfect balance of masa, cheese and filling.

Have to second that recommendation. However, their pupusas are a distant second to their tamales - particularly the whole corn deep-fried tamales. Those are a dream!

I think I've only had their regular steamed tamales, which are excellent, but next time I'm there, I'll try the deep fried. Thanks.

Based on a previous poster's recommendation, I tried El Salvador Con Sabor at 5105 Venice Blvd, 4 blocks west of La Brea. It is in a strip mall and they have yummy pupusas of many different varieties made fresh to order.

If you take the 10 East to the La Brea exit (NORTH) it is a very short drive from West L.A.

Their number is (323) 936-0231 and do take out too. Good luck on your pupusa hunt!
