The GUILD Restaurant crafts a unique experience
The name of the restaurant is brilliant and that sets the tone for an experience beyond anything I could have imagined in San Diego. Guilds are all about associations of like minded people looking to make their craft special. This place says that and more. The space is striking and from what I hear, has won awards for design and sustainability. The food is, bar none, the most creative and original in this city. Small bites offered us an adventurous night of tasting combinations that were pleasureful, challenging and yet really familiar to the palette. Thank god that san diego diners have evolved to a point where gargantuan portions are not the norm. The Guild is a fantastic experience and I applaude them for crafting every detail to make an unforgettable experience.

I quite like the food here as well but I think the furniture is very harsh. Interesting but not comfortable. Unfortunately it gets in my way of enjoying the food.
