baby shower RI?

We're looking for a restaurant to host a baby shower luncheon for 10-15 people. Anywhere in RI would work, though the Providence area would be the most convenient. Any ideas??

Thanks, all! I think the problem is that we don't really have a vision for this - so I don't have a good idea about type of food (other than good food). Luckily, price is being covered by someone else - and is apparently not too much of an issue one way or the other.

I had thought of Waterman Grille, but not CAV (despite me recommeding CAV to lots of people on this board!). CAV might be a very good option!

Do you have something specific in mind for type of food or price? A little more information about what you are looking for and I think we can give better suggestions.

Agree, need more details on what you have in mind, esp price range. Off the top of my head I'd suggest Waterman Grille or CAV for pretty brunch spots.

I was going to suggest CAV too. Have never been to Waterman Grille, but the location alone is worth checking it out---I'd have recommended the Gatehouse for this.

Yes, I've just always been a sucker for that bldg....it was always my first choice when I had to pick a venue for an event at work.

We had our friend's wedding shower at a local Chelos (the seekonk location). While not very Chowhound-y, the food was decent and the service was great.
