Best salads?

I occasionally crave a great salad (that's reasonably priced but not from a deli) when going out to eat in the Rittenhouse area but always come up short. Suggestions?

    Tria also has great salads.

I love the calamari salad at Morimoto. Lascala has great salads too.

I like the Good Dog salad at Good Dog. Simple but expertly made.

I agree, a nice, fresh salad which makes me feel a little less guilty about ordering the good dog burger.

i'm a big fan of the "control freak" salads at marathon grill - it is the make your own options, and they have so many different veggies, proteins and lettuce types to choose from.
i also like the bistro salad at Blacksheep, it's under $10 and includes Mixed greens, roasted beets, goat cheese, toasted walnuts, lemon herb vinaigrette

Agree that Marathon has grreat salads. Not cheap but always fresh and good quality.

Marathon salads are reliable, but you get charged for extra dressing. The salads are ginormous and the dressing containers are teeny - which makes the extra $$ insulting and unnecessary. I stopped going for this reason.
