Bought my Kings cake today from my favorite neighborhood oaxacan baker. They have only medium and large right now.

I like the candied things on top I just dont know what they are other than the fig. They are not super sweet, but have this soft apple like texture. Interesting really.

My lucky mother cut into it first and naturally got the baby on the first slice!
