Where can I find a very nice to up-scale restaurant that serves a great LOBSTER TAIL dinner in Pasadena or the San Fernando Valley? A request from my 84 year old mother-in-law for her Birthday Friday April 13th. Thank You in advance for any and all Replies.
Le Petit Bistro, which has locations both in the Valley and Pasadena, has been running lobster specials on Monday nights. You might call them to see if they also serve lobster on Friday.
Cafe Bizou also has lobster on the menu and, come to think of it, I think they, too, also have a location in Pasadena.
Although I haven't dined there. There have been recent favorable posts about Delmonico's Seafood on Pico. They have a branch in Encino. I assume they have lobster on their menu.
Full House on Hill St. in Chinatown serves pretty good lobster along with other delectable seafood. It's Chinese style of course and, although a comfortable dining room, it is not high end. They stay open late at night for those night owls. Around the corner on Chungking Rd. an interesting collection of art galleries is slowly replacing the once ubiquitous curio shops that sold cheap souvenirs.
Sorry I'm a little late for dinner. But let me chime in here. A good Maine-style lobster dinner can be found @ the upscale Delmonico's in the San Fernando Valley, in Encino on Ventura Blvd. Here, more private 4 person booths surround a smallish dining room. Monday night is the lobster special nite, but I'm pretty sure they serve the crustacean every night as well. Happy belated birthday Grandma.
