Thanks

I honestly don't know anything about the sipping vinegars, that's something I have to check in to.
As far as a hot and sour soup, the closest native (not imported) dish I can come up with is Yookgaejaong(sp), which is a spicy beef soup that is sometimes soured and served, or Kimchi Jjiggae (kimchi Soup) which is made from sour kimchi and tofu.
1 Yookgaejang
2 soontubu Jjigae (creamy tofu & kimchi soup)

Thanks for that information, hannaone and the Hot & sour pics. You are a friendly and helpful Chowhound. I will try one of the Korean soup varieties when I eat Korean next. I usually order Mon du kuk.
