Any ideas for a 75th birthday brunch in the Wilmington area? No requirements or limitations-

The Green Room at the DuPont.

      Absolutely the Green Room.

Thanks for the suggestions, but the guest of honor has been to the Green Room on multiple occasions.

It would be perfect, but we would like to take her to a different venue.

        Thanks again-

You might want to consider Hartefeld Golf Club in nearby Avondale, PA (just north of Hockessin). It's a pretty location, and they really do a nice job for brunch.

Also -- Simon Pearce can do a brunch type event in a private room for about 25 people I think. Or Mendenhall Inn.

Although I haven't been to Mendenhall In in a couple of years, last time I was there it was old and tired and musty. Also, I thought the menu was downright boring and the prices were waaaay too high.
