If you are thinking of Otto, consider Crispo instead. Way better food, and you can probably get a private room for 12.

I love Otto for big group celebrations, but I'm sure some people on this board would disagree. I think the food (pizza/antipasti/cheese) is great, plus it's such a festive atmosphere. Always puts me in a fantastic mood.

I thought of Otto although I may not be able to get a reservation for this Saturday (I procrastinated!). How loud does it get at night? I've only been there during the day.

do what i did for my birthday, go to daisy may's for the big pig gig. it is fun, food is awesome, and it's BYOB.

i can't really comment on the atmosphere because we had about 20 people there and we took up most of the space and they reserved two long tables for us. if it's only 12, more than just your party will be there and i'm sure it will be fun (we had fun basically having the place to ourselves). for 12 people i would suggest 1/2 pig and the pork butt and a few sides. and don't forget the beer (and bottle openers)! enjoy!
