Has anyone heard about/gone to this place in the Financial District? I haven't seen anything here but don't comb thru the pages the way I used to. I found out that Scott who bartended at Great Bay is there and there's an incomplete web site, but not much else. Seems to be off the radar.
It looks like the address of Kitty O'Shea's, yet another generic-sounding Financial District pub that I never managed to get to. Those places all kind of blend together in my mind, very little in that neighborhood that stands out. Do any of them have any business after 8pm?
Not to crack on it too much, but that's a very unappealing name. Are they trying to attract Beacon Hill lobbyists? Otherwise, what do they think about the concept of "lobby" might draw people in? "Man, I really want to hang out in that *lobby*."
Walked by The Lobby this morning. It is in the old Pizza Ogi space on Broad Street across from The Times. I have walked by at night, but didn't realize it was called The Lobby as the sign on the window is difficult to read. I have noticed it is full almost every night with customers, though it is a very small space. There is no menu on the outside so I don't know what they are serving.
If I get a chance to try it, I'll give a report.
