Has anyone heard about/gone to this place in the Financial District? I haven't seen anything here but don't comb thru the pages the way I used to. I found out that Scott who bartended at Great Bay is there and there's an incomplete web site, but not much else. Seems to be off the radar.

  1. It looks like the address of Kitty O'Shea's, yet another generic-sounding Financial District pub that I never managed to get to. Those places all kind of blend together in my mind, very little in that neighborhood that stands out. Do any of them have any business after 8pm?

Not to crack on it too much, but that's a very unappealing name. Are they trying to attract Beacon Hill lobbyists? Otherwise, what do they think about the concept of "lobby" might draw people in? "Man, I really want to hang out in that *lobby*."

I believe that is where The Office was... which was a great dive back in its day.

The Office, was another bar name I never understood. I want the LEAVE the office after work, not return to it!

but you could call your wife and say "i'm still at The Office."

The Lobby is owned by the same owner as Felt, Vinalia and the Revolution Rock Bar. I believe the team that runs the day to day operations at Revolution will be running the show at The Lobby.

As of a week ago. They haven't done any kind of hard opening, and likely are a few weeks away from marketing the place.

The Office is now called The Bar Room, or at least it had that name last week. Also, I was in Kitty O'Shea's three weeks ago, so I doubt they closed. Based on the Mapquest I just did, it would be at or near The Times, or more probably the old Tiernan's location.

i just did a google search and it sounds like it's where Pizza Oggi used to be. I'm not super familiar with that part of town so I don't know if anything else was there too.

Is Oggie on Broad Street? I thought it was on Batterymarch.

it is across the street from Revolution Rock bar

My friends were at Kitty O'Shea's this week, so it's indeed still open.

        3. Walked by The Lobby this morning. It is in the old Pizza Ogi space on Broad Street across from The Times. I have walked by at night, but didn't realize it was called The Lobby as the sign on the window is difficult to read. I have noticed it is full almost every night with customers, though it is a very small space. There is no menu on the outside so I don't know what they are serving.

If I get a chance to try it, I'll give a report.
