Dinner for 20 in San Jose

I'd like to plan a dinner for my mom's retirement, but I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. Are there any good places in San Jose that can accommodate a party of 20 for about $50/head? My mom is not that into super spicy food but has an otherwise adventurous palate, and there will be at least one gluten-sensitive person. Thanks!

We just did a party at E&O Trading Co. It was pretty good, a good variety of food and not that expensive.

71 St. Peter might fit the bill, but I'm not sure about the gluten sensitivity. Could be worth a call... Food there is reasonably fine, service can be slow but if you're with a group and enjoying the company, that's not always a bad thing.

Thank you so much! I love that their website shows private dining menus on a sliding scale. Awesome suggestion - I'll definitely give them a call.
