Two people, in the business, tasting menu with wines. Which place will hit it out of the park for me this Saturday night?

This is a tough one. I like the food equally. EMP's tasting is more expensive but has more courses. It seems like a good deal for so much food, but I have not tried it because it seems like more than I want to eat. Cru's tasting is more manageable and Cru has the more impressive and extensive wine list. The atmosphere at EMP is more spectacular, but Cru is warmer. We go to Cru maybe 4 or 5 times a year, yet each time we are treated like royalty. The maitre d' pours us a complementary glass of champagne as soon as we are seated and the sommelier is happy to help me choose good inexpensive wines. Service at EMP was excellent too, but without the personal touch. As we have only been there a few times, this is not a complaint. Please report back and let us know which you choose and how it turns out.
