New Times Best Of

The new times best of issue came out last week if some of you hadn;t noticed they said the Best of Dim Sum was a place in Rosemead called 888 seafood and what a delight it was! They were right on the money.
They have such variety at this place like very good sweet and sour pork ribs as well as the black bean ones. Crabmeat dumplings and 3 differnt kinds of
shue mei (sp) and the dining room is big spacious and clean. The food is not nearly as greasy as Empress pavillion. Now don't get me wrong it's not as gourmet as yank sing or cityview up in SF but I highly reccomend it.
Let me know of anyone had been there or any other best of new times places.
Ate there today and I have to agree it was awesome. If I hadn't stuffed myself like a pig on their dim sum, I definitely would have stopped for one of the take-out Peking Ducks they had hanging on the way out!
Highly recommended. Also, one of the few Dim sum palaces in the area that opens at 9 a.m. every day.
