Vegetarian Pot Pies
Trader Joes used to carry these amazing frozen pot pies...they had a whole wheat crust, the vegetables were actually tasty and they used a tofu cheese that was very creamy. TJoes discontinued them some time ago but I know they were made by another vendor. Does anyone know who makes these or where I can find them? Thanks!

They may have found out that in 9 years since putting up this post that the best pot pies are made by Wood Spoon in downtown LA.
Somehow overlooked the "veggie" word in the title. Not sure if Wood Spoon does a all vegetable one or not. Will have to check with them on the next visit.

Samir Mohajer used to do an awesome one when he was still at Rustic Canyon. Here's the recipe:

I've never been to either Cabbage Patch location (the restaurants he now owns), so I have no idea if he does anything similar there.

re: slds
Good Girl Dinette does a vegetarian pot pie. My favorite pot pie in LA is the Wood Spoon one, but the one at Good Girl Dinette is not bad either. I think they make it with caulifower and a curry-ish sauce and they sort of use a giant buttery biscuit for the crust.
