Marrons Glaces

Anyone know of a store where I may purchase these in town?
I don't know if brand matters or if there are differences. But essentially, I'm just looking to give it as a gift.

Thanks much and happy new year!

I've had it from Jacques Torres. But this was a couple years ago.

I would second the Maison du Chocolat suggestion, they are the best!

Call Payard Patisserie, they may have them...

Fauchon on Park and 56th has them, and they're packaged beautifully. (Available in plain and brandy.) For something similar (but different!), you could also try the Japanese bakery (not sure of the name) off Rockefeller Center - 49th Street off of Fifth Avenue. Several of desserts are made with chestnut.

Fauchon reopened? I need to get out more!

Hmm... Haven't been there in a while... Did it close? Maybe I'm the one who has to get out more!

I bought some gorgeous ones the other day at La Maison du Chocolate in Rockefeller Center. They're $4-$5/each, though.
