Where to get pickling salt in Montco?

I'm looking for pickling salt and can't find it in Acme or Genuardis. Does anyone know who carries it?

You could also try Penzey's Spices in nearby Chestnut Hill. Theyy have pickling salt plus an amazing variety of other spices. I always feel like a kid in a candy store when I am there!

Have you tried either Landis' (Telford, Vernfield, Perkasie)or Hennings (Harleysville)? They're both locally owned and have roots in the community which still values home-grown and home-made,while still keeping up fairly well with those who read the national food magazines.

Thanks Wanda, those are spots I didn't even know existed. They'll probably have the small kirby cucumbers I'm looking for too.

Probably not at this time of year in the local places for kirbys. Try the Korean grocery stores which have huge produce depts.

I'm going to try Assi in North Wales.
