Just avoid any place with the words 'famous' or 'rays' in their name...

I think Bella Vita on 43rd has some of the best pizza in the area. John's Pizzaria on 44th or Angelo's on 53rd and Broadway are good if you want to sit down and eat a pie. Be warned the service stinks at John's.

If you're just looking for some place to grab a slice, I hit Little Italy on 45th between 5th and 6th ave for lunch every so often. They have a large array of slices, my favorite is fresh mozz with sliced tomatoes and pesto. There's also Jianetto's Pizza Truck at 47th and Vanderbilt (between Park and Madison), I really like their grandma slices but be warned that it's only sauce, basil and sprinkled parmasean, no mozzarella. I'm not sure when you want to eat, but I'm pretty sure Jianetto's is not there on the weekends as it caters to mostly the midtown workers crowd.

Just curious... when did Little Italy move to Times Square? I know it's been a month or two since I've been on Mulberry, but I could swear LI was there the last time I looked.
