Secret Hollywood Treasure No One Knows About...

Always wanted to find a phenomenal place you can rave about and discover for your friends? I've got it...some friends of mine who work across the street discovered it.

Pshaw's Bistro in Hollywood (6099 W. Sunset Blvd, 323-871-2546

The owner was a successful accountant who left his professional to pursue his dream. Across from Paramount Studios, and around the corner from Roscoe's - this second story hideaway is impossible to find if you don't know about it.

But boy is the search worth it. This past year my wife and I had the opportuntiy to eat at the best restaurants from Hong Kong to Paris and believe it or not - THIS is our favorite. His works are a cross between French Quarter and Northern Italian Cusine. Unique and unbelievable.

You HAVE to try the Cream of Mushroom Appetizer and either the Seafood Crepe, or Tenderloin Medallions.

He nearly went out of business within a few months of opening (they've only been there 1 1/2 years) until my friend began taking some of the studio execs over after work.

Post your experience if you agree, this may be the best food in LA.

i mentioned this place a few months ago, nobody really had been there. i went there a couple years ago for lunch and it was excellent. great salmon dish and superb chocolate moussse cake. have you tried the coconut shrimp or the oxtails. what else is good on the menu? also, do you know if it is still doing lunch business?

Just stopped by there today. It was closed but there was a guy working inside (the owner?) He said they aren't doing lunch any more, but do brunch on Sunday. He said he hopes to start doing lunch again soon.
