Some time ago I saw a print ad for 'make your own wine' establishment in the LA area --- I can't remember the name and Google is no help. Anyone out there know? TIA.

I know there's a place in Redondo beach or something.

I find the best place to buy the supplies to do it at home with is the Home Beer Wine Cheese Shop in Woodland Hills:

    In long beach, Steinfillers

Didnt see that ad but some of the make your own wine ads are really for places where you go in and design a blend. Foe example, 20% merlot, 40% shiraz and 40% malbec, then the call some vintners and order the # of cases you want at that blend. You put your name on the label and it looks like your the vintner. But if you really want to make your own wine then by all means follow Diana's sage advice. I am a customer of Steinfillers and have a very nice blueberry vanilla mead fermenting as I type.

oooh! Ozbuc! Blueberry Vanilla mead sounds really good! We have a siezer, two porters and an old ale bubbling away, and the oaked cider, Belgian strong ale, caramel honey mead and English ale are all on tap.

We need to start a new mead for next summer. I would love to try a melomel., or an orange sage mead.

Saw this place next door when I went to get a Jersey-style hero at A-1 in San Pedro. Enormous wine making supply house:
