Where in Manhattan would you go for some really delicious Opera Cake?
I can't promise that they have it, but I'd call Cafe Sabarsky, and if they do have it, based on other cakes I've had there, I'm pretty sure that it will be good.
Ditto Cafe Sabarsky.
Sabarsky for sure. Best cakes in the city, in the European traditional category.
Tisserie on 7th Avenue in the West 50s. Le Bergamote's doesn't come close.
Bathazar Bakery also has a great opera cake. I got it for an office brithday thingie and it was a hit.
