Where can I buy fresh pasta in L.A.?

  • j

My old pasteria in New York was always able to provide wonderful sheets of pasta to make ravioli. Can anyone provide the name of a store in L.A. that might have something similar?

Much appreciated!

  1. you could try bay cities foods on lincoln in santa monica. they have some hand made pasta. I think it's frozen, however. but they have alot of other good stuff.

The best place I know of is on Hillhurst Ave. in Los Feliz. I'm not sure of the name but I believe it's north of Franklin. Just go to any one of the little shops on the block and ask where the fresh pasta place is. It's so good you don't even have to cook it. And cooking only takes 3 min. as opposed to the usual 10.

    2. That place in Los Feliz sounds great - definitely trying it out!

My boyfriend loves Divine Pasta Co. They have little stores around LA and you can buy their pasta in some "fine food" groceries (i.e. Bristol Farms, Whole Foods).

I buy my pasta from a nice man at the Hollywood Farmer's Market (Sunday @ Ivar & Cahuenga, from ? til 1pm I think). He's never let me down - it's always good stuff, everything from the basics to more eclectic raviolis.
