I haven't seen anything on TTD lately. anyone been there lately? I have some family from South Dakota coming who are meat and potato types who I thought would like TTD. I was there this last summer and loved the frickles and cheese curds. The kitchen sink burger was excellent and I regret not trying the whisky bread pudding.

All I know is they are open for lunch now in addition to dinner.

Went to TTD last night wish I had called as it was closed. Ended up going to Cafe Barbette and had the biggest mussels I have ever seen and the portion was huge.

went to TTD for lunch last week & enjoyed it. I really don't like the vibe of the dining room in the evening...and sitting @ the bar is only good for a party of 1 or 2.

If you are asking if TTD has suffered a downward slide in the past year, the answer is an emphatic no. They are still doing well what they do well.

That said, the past few times chowspouse and I have eaten there, we wished we had gone to Longellow Grill instead. More variety and better mix of things on the menu, better portion size to price, and a slightly calmer, quieter ambience. And they have a selection of meaty treaty potatoey things for your Dakota relatives.
