porcini powder

Is there any place in western Ma. to get reasonably priced porcini powder, or any place on the web that doesn't sock you for shipping?

You can try Rubiner's in Great Barrington. I know they have a purveyor who carries it. Dole & Bailey also supplies it if you have any friends in restaurants who could order it for you it would be much cheaper (and a large supply that will last you a long time!)
    Good luck.

It's easy enough to grind it yourself. You can probably find dried porcinis at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's; grind them in a spice grinder or even a big mortar & pestle.
