Cozy place an Irish Coffee on a cold night?

It's freezing out! Any good suggestions for a nice, cozy place - maybe with a fireplace? - where one can spend a lazy night and drink some Irish coffees? Would prefer the Westside -- Venice, Santa Monica, even Culver City....Oh, I wish Firefly in Sherman Oaks wasn't so darn far away.

Tom Bergins on Fairfax seems to be an obvious first choice. Cozy, pubby, good Irish Coffees and, yes, they do have a fireplace.

I haven't been myself in years, and I'm not sure if you had a hotel lobby vibe in mind, but when you mentioned fireplace I immediately thought of Shutters on the Beach Hotel. We used to go there to enjoy coffee and dessert and it was very cozy with fireplaces and comfy sofas and a piano player. Also right across the street is Hotel Casa Del Mar which is good for the same.

the piano player/singer they had there the last time i went was so bad that the food and drink were ruined by the bad singing.
        what were they thinking?
there are a million unemployed fantastic piano player/singers in this town.
