Sushi in the Valley

Tonight I was reminded once again why I like Yamakawa Sushi in Toluca Lake so much. I took my new gentleman friend there tonight and as he is a Sushi novice, the place was a good introduction. Intimate, tasty and as I was reminded, a family run place. The places on Ventura Blvd. always leave me a bit cold and I think Yamakawa is more generous. Just had to give a Chowhound Arigato to my favourite place.
