It was an oversized chocolate chip cookie, but not the kind that had the chips resting on top. These chips were smallish, & were worked through the batter. There was also an actual swirl of spices in this cookie...cinnamon, nutmeg maybe? The whole thing was almost 3/4 inch thick. I'm pretty sure it existed in diners & bakeries back in the 70's & 80's. Maybe more in diners, than in bakeries.
