Good food Live Music

HELP...I am looking for a nice resturant with good food and service. Nice attire and some good live music. No specific well no hard metal. If anyone knows of a good place-please let me know- Area-Hollywood-LA-Santa Monica-THANK YOU!!!

Interesting is definitely the right word to use. Do not, under any circumstances, go there if you'd like a normal conversation with your dinner mates. The Elvis singer is so freakin loud that you can't hear a word being said from the people across the table. However, the food is excellent, one of the best Thai I've ever had.

Agreed, the food there is some of the best Thai food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Their wild boar curry is just amazing, and worth the trip to Hollywood by itself.

Yes, I love their food! Always some delightful surprise. But beware: the Elvis is so freakin loud, you won't be able to hear a word your dinner mates are saying. Even if you try and get away from the speakers and sit at the booths, your table may vibrate. Another (small) thing about the booths: why are the seats so far away from the table?

Ah well, that's the price to pay for good Thai.

Just tried this last night: great salsa music and decent cuban food at El Floridita. They don't have music every night. Monday is apparently the night to go. The music doesn't get started until later.

I think that the Buffalo Club, an overtly trendy place in Santa Monica has some type of live music, at least later on the weekends. It becomes a somewhat clubby atmosphere. I thought the food was pretty good, but really expensive. The outdoor dining area is much nicer than the indoor. Call them for the details, I guess.
