If it is the place I'm thinking of, it is on Ocean Park between 16th and 20th in Santa Monica. I haven't been there, but I've heard good things about it.

I've been with Gagnier's from the beginning (when they were located in the Baldwin Hills Plaza). Then, to our horror, they disappeared. But we found them again on Third Street Promenade. Then, again to our horror, they disappeared. We found them on Ocean Park a few blocks east of Lincoln. Their food is great. The jambalaya used to be better. I don't eat it anymore. I also don't eat the fried shrimp platter any longer; the shrimp seem to have shrunk. However, the rest of the food is still wonderful. I do believe they've found the perfect location now. I'd recommend trying them ASAP.

Gagnier's is moving again--to an undisclosed location. Last time I was in there, they told me they are can't get a liquor license at the present location and are therefore moving in two months.
