Although not on the menu, Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant in San Rafael will cook a crab if you call ahaead and bring the crab. I have done this several times a year for the last few years, usually with a group and 2 or 3 crabs. The salt and pepper version is among the best I've ever had and so is the ginger onion. They will probably prepare others styles as well. I usually get the live crabs at the Loch Lomond Bait Shop, but the Western Boat Shop is closer and another good source for local crabs when they are available.
Chopsticks is a bare bones family run cinder block sort of place with no climate control. So if it's cold outside it is likely to be cold inside. I love this place. All of the food is made to order and there are many great versions of standard dishes.Chopsticks Chinese Cuisine
