We are looking for a great meal and good ambiance for New Year's Eve...Any last minute suggestions (WeHo, Westside, etc...)?
Would be even interested in a supper club (if they still exist)...

Chaya Venice always has a nice menu for New Year's Eve with several seatings. This year they will have a Cuban band. Michael's in Santa Monica has two seatings with either a 5 or 6 course menu ($95 for the 6:30 seating and $175 for the 8:30 seating). I don't know if either would still have space for 8 though!

Who have you checked with that didn't have room but that was of interest to you? Or where have you gone for NYE in the past that you enjoyed? Do you have reservations anywhere yet? Have you checked with Open Table to see who could do parties of 4 and then called that restaurant to see about your need for a party of 8?
