Momofuku or Blue Ribbon in LA?

Hi,

NYer in LA. Just wondering if there were any Momofuku or Blue Ribbon type restaurant suggestions in LA. Casual good and interesting food but not sceney or snooty.

Ideas or suggestions for me in the Los Felix, Silverlake area especially?

Sadly, there is nothing like Momofuku in LA, but somebody should know a good sushi/asian place in that area - it's not my hood.
