Would appreciate your comments. My favorite has toppings of chili, slaw, onions & mustard.

Thanks in advance for any comments & Happy New Year to all the Chowhounds out there!

Not many good hot dogs to be found in Richmond.....my favorite are the ones at Melitos (near West End) and in the fan at Buddy's. Five Guys also has a good one, but no chili :::sigh::::

There are GREAT hotdogs to be found in Richmond. Go to Joey's Hotdogs off of Ridgefield Parkway in the Exxon in the shopping center where Glory Days Grill is in the West End. It sounds funny that they are in a gas station, but they are extraordinary. They have been in the business for a long time, normally in a freestanding builing, but trust me they are terrific. They are the family of Tony's & Tony Jr.'s Hotdogs in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. They are amazing. They have terrific homemade chili, and the family has been in the hotdog business since the 1930's. They offer fast, friendly service. If you go there, you will be thrilled!
