Help: Dinner New Year's Eve without gouging . . .

I'm just looking for a nice, romantic dinner before New Year's Eve before spending a nice quiet night at home, and was looking for suggestions. Not looking for "parties" or anything like that. Know anywhere that wouldn't be having one of these "soak the customer for as much as we can" parties, in Downtown preferably (flexible on this)? I'm happy to pay for the food, but not for an evening of "activity" I don't plan to partake in. Thanks in advance.

Although it is getting kind of late, you might want to try Bistro Tournesol and see if you can get a reservation. Their prices are very reasonable and it's a quaint little bistro.
