Chefmate dutch oven toxic?

A friend was telling me there is lead in the red, made in China, dutch oven I bought during last years no knead bread craze. Has anyone else heard that? I use it specifically for the bread ( I have other dutch ovens for other cooking.) I cook for people who are chronically ill, children, and/or elderly very frequently which is why my friend mentioned it. What do you think? Thanks for your help.

    Buy one of those lead detector pens at the hardware store and set your mind at ease.

      The inside glaze is Not red, but white'ish....how could the exterior glaze hurt unless you took a screwdriver to hit..took off a hunk, and then embedded it into your food....
      I don't think you have a problem...but if Target has a recall.....

      It is a knockout shade of red isn't it! Real HOT!
