Question: reservations for dim sum?

I'm taking six people for dim sum next Friday. Can someone tell me, which Chinatown dim sum palaces require a reservation, and which we could get in reasonably quickly wilthout a reservation? (And, any suggestions as to which are, currently, the better places?) Thanx

NONE of them need reservations. I'm a fan of Jing Fong -- just show up on the early side and it doesnt matter what time you get there.
