Big Island market opens in Mauna lani

Well, we just returned from the now open "Foodland Farms" located right in the shops at Mauna Lani. They have been open for 2 days now.
Quite a lovely market, extremely well stocked. They tell me that they are open til 11 p.m nightly (Except Christmas Day), so this will solve alot of problems for those late night arrivals.
They have a full Deli, featuring Boar's Head products ( not sure if avail elsewhere on the island) Lovely bakery sampling with cookies, breads , tortes, cheesecakes etc.
Fresh selection of olives, cheeses, prepared gourmet paninis to go..
Also a full market with milk, canned goods, fresh seafood and butcher shop, fresh produce , frozen case kitchen supplies , and laundry as well. Prices are abit higher that up in Waikoloa Village market, but for convenience and specialty gourmet products it is a hit!

They expect to have a liquor section open early in the new year.

A welcome addition to the South Kohala Coast area.

Thank you for posting this! Looking forward to shopping there, though I'm sure I won't be able to resist stopping at KTA in Waikoloa Village--I just love that little store.

I Just love the KTA Waikoloa market as well... They have an amazing bakery there. The apple fritters sell out before 10 a.m. most days. It is indeed hard to resist, however , we were pleasantly surprised at the offering at the new Mauna Lani market. Location Location....
