Must find Kippers! (preferably in West Toronto)
I'm sure I saw them in the freezer with the other fish at 'No Frills' on Parliament just south of Carlton. I would think other supermarkets also stock them. By the way, I just asked someone who lived in Scotland how to prepare kippers -- fill a jug with very hot water and pop the kippers in for about 5 minutes. Out come 'jugged kippers.' Since the fish are already smoked they just need heating up, no need for a lot of cooking.
