Where to go after the Museum of the Moving Image?

I don't know Queens at all and am planning to go to the Museum of the Moving Image this afternoon (36th St and 35th Ave). Can anyone suggest a good place for a late lunch/early dinner in the area? Any type of food is fine, as long as there are some vegetarian options, and its in walking distance. Mostly, we're looking for something that is really delicious and is worth eating in Queens for instead of coming back to Manhattan.
Thanks.

Consider Valverde at Steinway & 36th St just a few blocks from the Museum. The menu is in the window. I've been here twice and enjoyed both meals. It's small and has just 5 tables so you should have a second option. Benjamas Taste of Thai a fairly new restaurant at 34-16 Broadway a short walk from the Museum could be considered. I hope others give recommendations. Do a search on Chowhound for Valverde. Taste of Thai website is www.thaibenjamas.com.

Went to Taste of Thai and we loved it. I highly recommend it- I had the chicken pineapple fried rice, and a nice chicken soup. Both were amazing. For dessert- we had the fried ice cream- absolutely amaaaazing! We loved it! and they brought it flambeed to our table!! woooow.Everything was great- so was the service!
The only thing I didn't like was the "american" music playing in the background- Shakira, Britney Spears, and such. I recommended to the manager, that they put something a little more... Thai? It was still a verrrrry pelasant experience, and I will be going back there soooon!
