After-dinner coffee in Brookline or Brighton?

Is there anywhere in the Brookline/Brighton area that serves coffee and maybe desserts, with nice atmosphere, open after 9? Thanks!

Athan's Cafe in Brighton Center is open till 11p every night, and has fantastic desserts, notably Greek pastries. The Washington Square Brookline location closes at 11pm Fri-Sat, 10pm other nights. My favorite baklava in town.

I'm not a fan of Finale: great-*looking* desserts is all they are.

Athans popped into my mind, but I was sure if they served coffee, etc... I've never been to the Brighton location. Do both/either serve coffee?

Both locations serve filter coffee, as well as the Greek frappé, a Greek oddity / specialty, kind of a sugary milk shake made with instant coffee and no ice cream.

If I'm not mistaken, you can also get espresso (and maybe Turkish coffee?) at both locations.

Athan's does serve coffee/coffee drinks in addition to the desserts and gelato. I have never been to the Brighton location but the Brookline location now actually has more than three tables so it is much easier to get a seat than it was a year or so ago. I like their baklava and the lemon mousse cake.

Infusions Tea Spa is closed at the moment. I passed by on the bus Friday and noticed that furnishings and Christmas decorations were in place but the windows were covered with brown paper. Will have to walk by and look at the signs to see what's up - I don't know if it's renovations or what.
