Creamy Cheesecake Recipe

I would like to make a cheesecake for the holiday. In the past I have used the Lindys recipe which is good, but I want something that is very creamy throughout, not at all dry, but still tangy and rich. I plan on topping with cherries. Thanks.

My new favorite cheesecake recipe is based on Martha Stewart's "Strawberries and Cream" Cheesecake. I've made it three or four times now, once with strawberries, once or twice with other berries (blackberries were delicious!), and once omitting the berries altogether and making a berry topping. It's super creamy and delicious. The only things I do differently are substituting a shortbread crust for the graham cracker crust (personal preference) and I've found it has to bake a little longer than the recipe suggests.

I have been hooked on Tyler Florence's Ultimate Cheesecake recipe. It's on the Food Network website (not sure if I can link to it here). I definitely recommend baking it a bit longer than suggested to ensure the middle isn't too loose.
