Favorite deli near the strip in Vegas?

I'll be in town for CES and I miss the delis in NYC. I know there are a variety of delis now in hotels along the strip - any recommendations for your favorite deli? I'm hoping to find a fantastic corned beef sandwich, and perhaps some good blintzes and other healthy fare. ;)

Thank you!

  1. The delis - at least the ones on the Strip - are pretty disappointing. I've tried Carnegie, Canter's, Stage, Zoozacrackers, and one other whose name I forget, and their corned beef and/or pastrami was at best fair to good. I also tried cheese blintzes (and chopped liver) at Canter's, and matzobrei and kiska at Carnegie, and was equally disappointed.

Of the lot, I liked Canter's best. Its pastrami was reasonably flavorful, and the rye bread was good, albeit sliced too thinly.
