Where to find cleaned and cracked crab?

My usual source for cleaned and cracked crab is out of crab right now. Does anyone have a source for good fresh cleaned and cracked crab at a reasonable price ideally around the peninsula or towards San Francisco? I read that Costco is a source, but I don't have a membership there. I need about 15lbs for a New Year's party.

I saw it advertised at Ferry Plaza Seafood. You should call to inquire about pricing and details.

Sign at El Cerrito Ranch 99 this AM on empty tanks "expecting fresh crab at 11:00".
Caveat, last time they got a shipment , last year, the early line just for crab was quite long and people were buying bags full. Therefore their usual crack and clean was suspended. The price this AM on the empty tanks was $5.99/pound. Also remember
these are live and check your cookbooks. Bay Seasoning or not Bay Seasoning, that is the question.

Yes you would think they could have made it $2.99 when they didn't have any and raised the price once they did.

Foster City R99 was $4.99/lb this week for live crab. The offer wasn't extended for the crack-and-clean, but it was no big deal at all. Very good quality crab, I might add. As good as what I got out at Pillar Point. The .50 /lb. price difference is negated by the amount of gas burned getting out to HMB and back.

Cook's in Menlo Park though not that reasonable.

At Costco on El Camino today, they had previously frozen crab. I, personally, want fresh. Try Ranch 99 in Daly City.

I had cleaned and cracked crab from Andronico's tonight. The woman selling it apparently said it was very fresh (not previously frozen) and local. I thought it was not as sweet as it might be, but my SO, who doesn't like crab too sweet, thought it was great, not watery, not too fishy. I couldn't ask the price because we were guests.

Swan's Oyster Bar sells cleaned, cooked, cracked crab. Not particularly inexpensive, but good quality and they always have it.

Thanks for all the sources. Apparently some places are out or are getting a limited amount of fresh. I was able to located at Cooks...though the price isn't that low.
