While perusing Naan Bread recipes I found a fun demo. I'd love to read about other hounds (demo) discoveries on You Tube.

I also like the Naan bread one and the puerco pibil ... here's one called how to make Pad Thai...check her out, she's preparing it in a boat at a "floating market"! Beautiful and I love the music, too:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyH4axkSTT0

Speaking of thai music, I was at a decent Thai restaurant a few weeks ago; it had Thai and Asian furnishings all around and our server said she was Thai...but they were playing this horrid Billy Joel song and other "pop" tunes....argh! Totally killed the ambiance. I guess I'd rather have NO music than a buzzkill like that one.

Anyone can watch some serious food videos and get put to sleep, If you need to wake up from a hangover and cook, cook, cook, learn some off color Italian, and laugh go to:

http://www.bitchinkitchen.tv/main.php?gimme=Video#

and scroll down to wacko things like “ Bag ‘em tag ‘em French Toast “ a romantic blend of of dating, homicide and breakfast foods, or “Pissed off Penne” with multiple episodes including a Rachael Ray Voodoo Doll! This is not for prime time TV, folks!
(You may have to click twice to get things going from “pause” to the “right facing” play arrow. For it to run) .

Nadia G is no Julia Child, and thankfully no Rachael Ray, look for her soon on a Comedy channel…when she comes down off her meds!

Still need a laugh, tired of watching the Weather Channel, then go to Averagebetty at: http://www.averagebetty.com/?page_id=51

Scroll down and try “Fish Camp” for a laugh and grilled fish. (You may need to click on the “pause” button to get it going) Make “The Perfect Shrimp” ((Looks good, I’d try it with Thai sweet chili dipping sauce instead of the hotter Sriracha sauce).

http://www.averagebetty.com/?p=138 for a “Stop, drop and dinner roll” to extinguish mother-daughter flareups over new tattoos. Guys, learn about making tasty "Fajquitos" from Betty in her estrogen excess phase at http://www.averagebetty.com/?p=101 or
http://www.averagebetty.com/?p=104 for Mac Daddy and Cheese or
http://www.averagebetty.com/?p=90 for BBQ Pizzas-you won’t go hungry.

Ok, had enough? This thread did start with Naan bread...Make some Indian food, at: http://showmethecurry.com/

Hmmm. Nothing from Kerala to Kashmir for you today? Not to worry, try: http://ifood.tv/bvideo and type in what you fancy (or what’s been sitting in the fridge for 4 days, patiently waiting to be cooked!).

‘Scuse me, my daube is calling me…

i think nadia g and the bitchin' kitchen could raise ratings for the food network. or at least FN could have a "throwdown" with nadia versus rachael for a wild nightime viewing "reality show". hmmm.... maybe tag teams?
